What need to consider about the air return duct while the DurkeeSox fabric duct designing?



Firstly, the DurkeeSox fabric duct system need to consider the air pressure of the air return duct while calculate the inlet pressure.  The DurkeeSox fabric duct system is designed into supply air with static pressure, the fabric duct system required at least 70 pa inlet pressures. If the ESP is too small and the airflow pressure of the return duct is large, then, the DurkeeSox fabric duct cannot work properly (negative pressure inside the fabric duct, and cannot supply the airflow). Secondly, the volume of the return airflow should be larger than the supply air in order to maintain a certain positive pressure. Also, the opening of the return duct has some influence to the airflow distribution. For example, in a cooling required occasion, the return air duct should be set at top as we suggest, evacuating the hot air easily; in a heating required occasion, the return air duct should be set near the ground, evacuating the cold air easily. Meanwhile, the supply and return airflow design should avoid the airflow short circuit. If the plan designed without the return air duct, the return air should be resigned as the inartificial airflow return like the window.
